Registrar Finding Will Be Appealed

Liberal Democrat-run Islington Council has confirmed that it will be appealing the recent tribunal finding regarding one of its registrars, who refuses to carry out Civil Partnership ceremonies as part of her duties.

Liberal Democrat councillors have been overwhelmed by dozens messages of support we have received over this issue, from both individuals and organisations.
